Things I will miss most about Christmas:
The acknowledgement of Jesus Christ, his beautiful life. In day to day life the miracle of his birth is so easily forgotten.
The chance spend quality time with family you don't see very often.
The time we take to actually sit down to eat a dinner with family.
Christmas Music, the joyous sounds the season brings that remind us how there can be peace.
Sparkling lights on house to house that glow in the night.
The wonderful Christmas movies and specials on TV.
Pumpkin Spice Creamer- why why does it have to be seasonal?!!!
Time off work!!!
The giving spirit seems to come out in so many people.
Cookies, Cakes, Brownies, candy, and hot chocolate.
Oh and lets be honest- PRESENTS!
What I will NOT miss about Christmas:
The shopping crowds!
Trying to find parking places in any and all shopping centers.
Christmas chaos- that's when twenty people open up presents all at once and paper starts flying. I hate that. My family opens one gift at a time so everyone can enjoy your little surprises.
Arguments between family members, because it is going to happen somewhere.
The taking down of decorations, such a sad sad time.
I feel a little sadness the holidays are almost over. It is my favorite time of year. I love the cold weather, I cherish my time with family and friends and I love that for one season the world seems kinder, that love seems deeper and hearts are softer.
May 2013 bring you all kindness, love and compassion every day.

Wow, my family opens presents one at a time, too! :) Loved spending Christmas Day with you and Tommy. Love any time we spend the day together.
